Today I played tourist. Cape Town is a beautiful city, and I would love to live here. It is very industrialized and not at all what I expected. There is even a train system. I am guessing due to the World Cup being here, the streets are paved and there are many statues devoted to soccer. Currently it is fall so not as hot, and very foggy. I am looking forward to starting my internship on Thursday. The population is very diverse here, with a plethora of languages and many different races. I cannot feign my surprise. The rich culture of the villages and townships is what i am looking forward to the most.
