Watch: Schools in the Cape Flats by Neuro Wolff at Venice Biennale 2010

After reading this article about Heinrich Wolff’s talk at Design Indaba 2012 on how school architecture has the ability to improve the pass rate from 40% to 70%, I just had to see how these schools ‘function’.

The above video shows Usasazo Secondary School in Khayelitsha, which was built in 2003.

The video below shows the other school, Inkwenkwezi Secondary School in Dunoon, also by Neuro Wolff Architects built in 2007.

In addition to the above two videos for the Venice Biennale, another one of St. Cyprian’s School was also made.

The music in the videos is by Felix Laband.
