Term: 6 months (minimum)
Future Cape Town is looking for an assistant to the editor-in-chief to be part of the team. Your main roles will include:
- preparing articles ,
- proofreading and editing
- curating content
- finalizing and presenting the weekly Editorial calendar
- liaising with contributors
Depending on the quality of the candidate, additional roles may include; writing articles, conducting interviews, basic research, initiatives to broaden the reach of the website, and organization in general.
You will report and liaise directly with the Editor-in-chief almost daily. The role is quite demanding, and requires an excellent command of the English language and an ability to work quickly and to a very high standard.
