Development of Luxury Cruise Terminal at E Berth in Duncan docks

Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) announced the V&A Waterfront as the successful bidder for the R125m project in July 2015, which includes operation, maintenance and transfer of ownership back to TNPA after 20 years.

The Cruise Terminal will remain at E Berth in Duncan docks. The V&A Waterfront investment will open up access to what is described as one of the most scenic ports in the world, set against the dramatic backdrop of Table Mountain and set into a mixed-use destination including hotels, leisure activities and tours that depart from the V&A Waterfront.

Once upgraded the it will be able to accommodate the port’s current and future passenger vessel fleet and will feature retail and hospitality services.
