A mixed-use development of R1.2bn is being created in Roggebaai, next to the V&A Waterfront.

The Yacht Club(by the Amdec Group) will be located in the Roggebaai Canal Tourism Precinct near to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on the Foreshore and directly south of the new multi million Rand cruise liner terminal to be completed in 2017.

The Yacht Club’s striking nautically inspired design will reflect the heritage its setting.  Set for completion mid-2017, The Yacht Club will include commercial space as well as a residential (170 residential units of one and two bedroom apartments) and hotel component. Apartments will range from 54m² to 95m² with a starting price of R2.4m.

The development is one of a few in the industrial waterfront area, and mirrors the development of similar sites around the world such as Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, Port Vell in Barcelona and Canary Wharf in London.

It forms part of the Port Gateway precinct previously written about here. Read more here
