How can a public design festival promote action around water and food security, mobility challenges, social cohesion and urban resilience?
The #cocreateDESIGN FESTIVAL is collaborative public design festival that seeks to celebrate and examine the power of design as a solution-driven process for innovation and problem solving to address current socio-economic and environmental challenges.
Our Future Cities curated and developed the programme of speakers, installations, films and supported the overall project communication for both .
Future Cities reprised its role for the 2019 edition, which took the theme “Inspiring Resilience”. The festival celebrated globally inspiring, people-led, on-the-ground projects that demonstrate the power of design to tackle current socio-economic and environmental shocks and stresses. It boasted over 20 notable speakers and masterclass hosts from various backgrounds and from across the globe.
